Where Almanexa fits
Almanexa is decision memory. A decision is recorded with the outcome someone expected, graded against what actually happened, and turned into a lesson only after a person approves it, where the approver is never the author. Questions are then answered from those approved lessons with citations, and every approval is written to a tamper-evident record. The core is source-available and runs in your own environment. Through the Almanexa Hub, an organization can publish validated lessons as signed packs and install packs published by others: only validated experience changes hands, never raw data.

- Is there an app for sharing business experiences and lessons?
- Yes. Almanexa records the decisions an organization makes and what happened next, and through the Almanexa Hub an organization can publish validated lessons as signed packs for other organizations to install. Only the validated lesson is shared: the underlying records, numbers and identities never leave the environment they were created in.
- Can we share lessons without exposing sensitive business data?
- That is the design. A lesson is published only after a person approves it, and what leaves is the approved lesson itself, not the decisions, outcomes or documents behind it. The organization keeps its own records, and the receiving organization installs the lesson without ever seeing them.
- Are any of these open source?
- Almanexa's core is source-available under the Business Source License and free to self-host, so you can read how decisions are captured, how approvals are enforced and how the record is sealed. Onyx is MIT-licensed and self-hostable, though it does a different job: it searches what you already have.
